Within a few days following your treatment, the actual cost will be determined, and you’ll be notified accordingly. In cases where the final cost is higher than the initial estimate, an additional payment can be made at the time of final billing.

Having a private medical insurance

The General Clinic of Dodecanese may accept cost coverage guarantees from international insurance companies (e.g. AXA International, AIG) provided that a written “guarantee of payment” from the insurance provider, accepted by the International Office of the Clinic, is available in advance.Once your treatment has finished, we’ll send your private medical insurance the final bill. Please note some insurers will only cover part of your treatment, and all insurance policies contain different levels of excess charges, based on your individual contract. This means you may have to pay a charge yourself. There is also the case where your private insurance will cover the cost on a “cash and claim” basis. This means that you will have to pay the entire bill to the clinic and then you get compensated by your insurance company, once you have provided all documentation.
In any case, please get in touch with your insurance provider in advance.

Please note that the General Clinic of Dodecanese is not responsible for settling any disputes between patients and insurance companies. The Clinic will provide the necessary documentation to the patient or to the insurance company.
